Qbit EPCs, the Honda Civics of PCs.

August 18th, 2008

PCs today are like SUVs. They are big, heavy and uses up alot of natural resources just to produce and  power it. Many of the average PCs use 300Ws just to do the simplest tasks of checking email, chatting online, doing spreadsheets and presentations, causing a toll on Mother Earth. Qbit Online’s line of Qbit EPCs (Efficient PCs) uses less than 20W of power and yet can startup to desktop within 50 seconds using the included linux OS. It is fanless (0 dB) and compact, similar in size to a DVD disc. Greater power comes greater responsibiity. Use less power and be more carefree =D! Click here for more photos. Item available now. Open…Wind (MSI Wind U100)

July 17th, 2008

Unboxing of the MSI Wind. It comes with a carrying bag as seen in the picture. The battery surprisingly is only 2200mAh. Somehow the more rounded Wind looks more instyle compared to the Asus Eee, even with the recently 901 or 1000H. But its mostly plasticky finish makes it look more entry looking compared with the Eees. More photos here. Product is avaialable for purchase here with global express shipping.
